Carolina Climate Control has been providing reliable HVAC services to homeowners and businesses throughout South Carolina and the Upstate since 2014. Our founder, Marshall Gay, is a transplant from Atlanta who began working in the HVAC industry as a teenager. After nine years in the industry, Marshall started Carolina Climate Control out of the back of his truck with a simple goal: build a company known for doing things the right way and putting customers first.
In 2023, Marshall teamed up with Mark Taylor, bringing together their experience and shared vision for the future of Carolina Climate Control. Mark brings more than 30 years of HVAC industry experience, including time working directly with American Standard and Trane at the manufacturer level, as well as years of experience in HVAC distribution. His background provides a unique perspective spanning manufacturing, distribution, contracting, operations, and customer service.
Together, Marshall and Mark have continued to grow Carolina Climate Control while staying focused on the values the company was built on: taking care of our customers, taking care of our team, and delivering quality work we can stand behind.

Longtime customers may also recognize Mr. Moose, Marshall's French bulldog and the beloved mascot of Carolina Climate Control. Moose was part of our company from the early days and became a familiar face throughout our community and our brand. While we recently said goodbye to Moose, he'll always be an important part of the Carolina Climate Control story and a reminder of the friendly, welcoming personality our company was built around.
